Mossy runs on the Lovable AI Gateway, which currently serves Google Gemini and OpenAI GPT-5 models. Estimates are based on Google's 2024 Gemini inference disclosure (median text prompt: 0.24 Wh, 0.26 mL water, 0.03 g CO₂e), Ren et al. (2023) on data-centre water cooling, and the IEA (2024) EU grid intensity (~230 g CO₂e/kWh). OpenAI has not yet published per-inference disclosures, so GPT-5 figures are extrapolated from comparable published data — we will update when official numbers are released. Image and PDF analyses are modelled as ~4× heavier than a text-only prompt. Actual values vary by model, data centre, and grid mix.
